Product Engineer in Laconia, NH

New Hampshire Ball Bearing?s Astro Division is located in Laconia, NH?heart of the scenic Lakes Region. Astro is a World-Class 460+ person, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other precision metal parts for the aerospace industry. This position is responsible for providing technical customer support for plain bearing and machined assemblies. Will assist Sales in flowing down PO requirement details into the manufacturing process. Must have working expertise of machine tool capabilities and inspection techniques. Demonstrated proficiency in Solidworks (3D solid Modeling), Microsoft excel, Microsoft word and Powerpoint. Strong interpersonal and communication expertise. Must be self motivated and able to operate independently, meeting aggressive customer schedules. Expertise to be flexible, balance multiple priorities, and collaborate closely with other engineers, Quality and Sales teams. Proficiency in blueprint reading, materials science, drawing interpretation, and geometric tolerancing is required. Extensive business travel required. 2-4 yrs engineering background in the bearing industry or closely related position.
