Floor Support Manufacturing Engineer New Hampshire Ball Bearing`s Astro Division is located in Laconia, NH Heart of the scenic Lakes Region. Astro is a World-Class 400+ person, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other precision metal parts for the aerospace industry. This successful applicant will be responsible for providing shop floor Engineering support for daily troubleshooting of all types of manufacturing problems such as manual and CNC milling, turning, grinding and press work, as well as MRB activity. Background with manual and CNC milling, turning or grinding preferred. Duties include initiating and working on projects to improve quality, productivity and reduce costs. Background with CNC programming, tool design, computers, lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma is a plus 3-five years background in a metal working manufacturing environment.
